This location is in a perfect location. However, some of the staff were rude. The room was clean and modern. Something to keep in mind was at night is was very noisy with the traffic and the music. Very noisy! Would stay there again but would take ear plugs for sure.

Unique Friendly Hotel

The location of this hotel could not be better. The staff are helpful and the ones we came into contact with were always friendly and cheerful. we had a front facing ocean view room which was everything we expected, reasonably spacious, loads going on to watch from the window. The beds and linen were sumptuos and the the toiletries and robes top quality. All in all a very entertaining and comfortable experience topped by a first class complimentary breakfast. We love South beach and although we are a good bit older than the general mix we felt completely comfortable in the environment. Noise levels at night were quite high, but this is one of the reasons for visiting, the fashion show on the grass in front of the beach was particularly interesting. Will be back for sure and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, although we think an Ocean facing room is essential.....

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Happy we chose this hotel. Perfect location. The staff was excellent! I was so happy to know the reviews were all true for this boutique hotel. Clean rooms, No loud noises. Comfy bed, and the air conditioning works great! And free breakfast : ) which was excellent everyday. Service with a smile. The best way to start your day, enjoying the ambience of South Beach. Enjoyed the beach chairs and towels and the walk along the beach and the park was fabulous. Really loved the Art Deco style and the History in all of South Beach. Definitely a place to stay....

old school charm with modern feel

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beacon Hotel on South Beach for 2 days this past week. We had been down to Miami 3 years ago, and stayed at a different ocean front hotel- about 3 or 4 hotels down from the Beacon. This time we wanted to try a different hotel, as we were hoping for a modern, up-to-date bathroom area- which is just what we got at the Beacon! Prior to booking, we had read the other reviews on this website and reviewed the pictures posted, and when we arrived what we saw was what exactly what we got! The room we stayed in at the Beacon was an ocean-front King and it certainly exceeded our expectations of the hotel. Other great reasons to stay at the Beacon would be for the very friendly, helpful staff and service, as well as the complimentary breakfast options. The bed was another thing worth mentioning; it was very comfortable and plush. I would definitely stay here again, as the room was modern, yet classic, and also very clean. Between the hotel staff, close proximity to the beach, local shopping and restaurants, as well as the room cleanliness and furnishings, our stay at the Beacon Hotel was an all-around great experience. Thank you Beacon!

Great location and very nice hotel. Its in the center of everything!! The beach is just across the street and you could not ask for better staff!! Loved it! Will be back next year for sure!!

Best south beach hotel

Our family with a six years old daughter stayed in this hotel Jan 2013. The experience is wonderful. The hotel is located in the best location in South beach with free breakfast in the morning. The hotel is a little small but very clean and the service is excellent, whatever you want, you get it in a minute.

yes we had an excellent time. we were there to renew our vows.sebrina you are the best! you are always ready to help and make your stay as pleasant and great as can bewhen we came back from renewing our wedding vows it was just great and surprising that sebrina said there was something special waiting in our room and it was a cold bottle of champagne and glass flutes beautiful!!

Loved it!

We stayed at the Beacon for six nights and it was the favourite part of our trip around the US. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, everything provided for a comfortable stay and even breakfast thrown in (which was a pleasant surprise). Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for two nights during Spring Break, what else can I say except, "this you get the best deal you can get for your buck." Christian and the staff are exceptional. Let's not forget the location it's in the heart of everything. Can't wait to book my next stay!!!!

Great experience

Just got back from a three night stay at the Beacon. We loved the hotel. The staff is friendly, courteous and very efficient. The location is superb, right in the heart of all the action and so close to the beach. The beach chairs, towels and the cooked to order breakfast were also wonderful. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable with excellent linens. We have stayed in South Beach before at other locations but they did not compare to the Beacon. Thanks to the staff at the Beacon we will be back to stay again.
