My partner and I stayed here before our Cruise in February 2012 and were thrilled with the ambiance, service and location. This art deco hotel has been well managed and updated to reflect today's modern deco. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and friendly front counter staff along with our bags being swept away to our room. This was the start of a "don't worry about a thing" stay at The Beacon. Staff was willing to help, advise, and treated guests like they were coming home (opening doors and warm reception). The location was incredible as you're right in the heart of South Beach and directly across the street from the Beach. I will definitely recommend to others and will stay here if my travels ever bring me back to Miami. Thank you!

My husband & I just stayed at the Beacon for our first time, Feb/March 2012. We felt it was well represented on the web site and met all of our expectations. We had a wonderful view of Ocean Drive and park/beach. Our room was spacious & comfortable (great bed & linens), loved our bath room, perfect location too - restaurants, clubs, beach, shopping, etc. Staff very helpful too! We would definitely stay there again!

We booked this not knowing what to expect other than art deco and great location. The total experience was absolutely terrific. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, from bottles of water, towels and beach chairs for the beach, fruit, breakfast included. You get the feeling they really care that you have a nice time while you're there! I recommend it highly and hope to go back.

stayed at the beacon and was a great experience. room was very clean and confortable, service and staff was very good. there was no noise from the outside and staying right on ocean dr made tings a lot easier. I will definetly stay at this resort from now on everytime im in Miami

I would highly recomend The Beacon to anyone staying in South Beach.

Stayed here in November with my husband. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff, made us feel at home. Room was quiet, clean, spacious. Room included beach chairs and beach towels that were exchanged upon returning from the beach. Breakfast was included, off the menu at the adjoining restaurant. Loved sitting at the restaurant, enjoying happy hour and people watching. Would definately recommend!

Room was clean and cute. Rather small though. Bathroom way too small. Nowhere to hang towels. Beach chairs and towels provided which was great! Breakfast included,although not many choices was still adequate.mattress in our room needed to be replaced. The garden area is a nice quiet place to sit. Staff courteous and helpful. Overall, was a good experience!

I have stayed there many times. The staff are amazing. There is no better location. You are where you need to be. Looking to return soon.

I stayed here with my partner for three nights during September 2011. We were extremely happy with all aspects of our stay.
Service received was great. Staff were very helpful. The small touches like offering to take your wet towels after a visit to the beach or offering cups of fruit in the morning really added to the experience. Breakfast was included too and although there wasn't a lot to choose from the food was nice.
The rooms were very nice and appeared to have been recently renovated. We were initially given a room at the back of the hotel but moved to an ocean view room after the first night. Both were great however we actually preferred the room at the back of the hotel. It seemed bigger and it was definitely much quieter.
Location was excellent. Right in the heart of the art deco district of South Beach. It is very touristy but has a nice charm to the place. Feels like it has more character than the modern high rises further up the beach.
Overall I would highly recommend the Beacon Hotel for a trip to South Beach.

Stayed September 2011, traveled as a couple

We were pleasantly surprised with everything. The room was small(but it is south beach) very clean with nice room towels; beach chairs and towels. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was included! The location ideal. What more could you want?!
